Maintenance Supervisor
Scotland Manufacturing Company located in Laurinburg, NC (Sandhills of the Carolinas) is rapidly becoming a recognized leader in quality, delivery and service for drawn, stamped and fabricated metal components. With sales growth of 45% in 2007 and forecasted growth of 20% for 2008, we are currently searching for the following highly motivated individual to become part of our team. Maintenance Supervisor will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager. This person will coach and mentor Plant Maintenance Team Leaders and Technicians and provide training regarding the use of the following tools: 5S, RCCM (Root Cause and Counter Measure), PM, Safety WO’s and Breakdown repairs. The maintenance supervisor will be responsible for implementing and administering to the plant TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) program including: PM (Preventive Maintenance), PdM (Predictive Maintenance) and AM (Autonomous Maintenance). The supervisor will ensure that the CMMS is maintained including: equipment files, MRO inventory, PM tasks and compliance to schedule and WO’s for breakdown, safety and production support activities. The supervisor will develop EIT (Equipment Improvement Teams), and schedule and lead PIT (Process Improvement Team) events that are in line with plant objectives. The maintenance supervisor will be responsible for planning and implementing activities to improve the following metrics: Downtime, WO Backlog, and Schedule Compliance to planned work such as PM, Routes, Projects, etc. The maintenance supervisor will be responsible for planning maintenance projects and plant shutdowns including: scope of work, timeline budget, labor requirements and BOM (Bills of Material).
