Maintenance Engineer

EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE

·         Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or two to four years-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Responsible for scheduling, and coordinating Maintenance, Facilities, and Waist water activities necessary for the safe and efficient operation of all plant equipment, systems, structures and grounds. 

·         Develops and provides leadership in accordance with organization goals and objectives.

 

BACKGROUND/ SKILLS

·         Knowledge and skills in the area’s of Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Pneumatic/Hydraulic systems

·         Automotive background preferred, with preference towards high volume assembly operations

·         Must have familiarity with CMMS systems

·         Computer skills ( Microsoft Office ) are highly preferred

 



 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Coordinate with Maintenance Manager and Plant Manager to maximize plant performance

·         Coordinate and direct supervision of maintenance personnel to achieve completion of required work load.

·         Direct control of Preventative/Predictive maintenance schedule for process equipment

·         Works closely with Production and Production Engineering Departments with training to reduce or eliminate downtime, and promote plant safety.

·         Supports efforts to maximize production through creative problem solving, adoption, and correction of process bottle necks

·         Maintains team Environment with other plant departments

·         Develop, track and maintain capital and expense budgets to support executive management control of the business operation relative to approved activities.

·         Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.

·         Schedules personnel to get maximum performance for scheduled hours to work

·         Conduct Performance Appraisals and sets goals for department  

·         Develop short and mid-term business plans for Maintenance and Environmental Departments in accordance with Organizational goals and Targets.
