Traxxas is seeking professional, enthusiastic, mechanical designers with excellent mechanical aptitudes and strong technical communication skills.  Enthusiasm for automotive development and high-performance vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATV’s, boats, aircraft, etc.) A high level of hands-on mechanical ability. Minimum of an Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or related coursework, or equivalent experience. Minimum of one year of professional design experience using solid modeling software (Preferably with SolidWorks, Pro-Engineer, Solid Edge, or Catia). Experience creating engineering level CAD drawings, including dimensioning, tolerancing, and related documentation. Experience in the development of consumer products from initial concept through production. Strong written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access and Outlook). Experience with radio controlled vehicles and/or full size automotive vehicles is a definite plus.  (Please elaborate on this experience in your cover letter.) Understanding of the following manufacturing processes: Injection molding, die casting, and machining. Hands-on experience with radio control vehicles and/or full size vehicles (Please elaborate on this experience in your cover letter)
