Inside Sales Representative

Requirements:Candidates will have a strong Inside Sales background with a focus on growing small to medium accounts. You must be self-directed, challenging, thorough, detail oriented, professional, aggressive, and willing to go "the extra mile". Excellent communication skills and the ability to overcome objections is absolutely required. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in Inside Sales, as well as a proven track record for growing business. Description:Argent International, Inc. in Plymouth, Michigan is a successful, approved Tier 1 and 2 automotive supplier and a leader in the field of pressure sensitive adhesives and Specialty Die Cut components. Inside Sales’ primary focus is growing small to medium accounts, selling to new markets, and prospecting. Inside Sales will proactively contact potential and current customers, follow up on all leads, and increase sales to these accounts: Cold calling is required. Inside Sales will anticipate and understand customer needs and expectations, and through this constant communication, increase sales. Spanish language skills are a significant plus.The Inside Sales Representative will do the following: • Sell components to new and current customers. • Increase sales of House accounts according to annual goals.• Proactively cultivate customer relationships.• Handle all incoming sales opportunities, Internet leads, aftermarket, distribution, and catalog sales.• Provide customer service for accounts, Internet sales, aftermarket, distribution, and catalog items.• Educate customers and promote products for in-house accounts, emphasizing salable features. • Compile information necessary to prepare the "Request for Quote". • Provide customer quotations including pricing, terms and estimated delivery timing for all prototype, production and/or service parts.• Contract review; prepare order entry and shipment of prototype, sample, and pre-production parts.• Maintain online quotation/purchase order database.• Back-up for Sales Support department.• Administer and track the shipping of samples and R&D to customers.• Compile sales information for reporting.• Continually improve personal and technical skills through education and training.Argent offers a clean, challenging, non-smoking corporate environment with the opportunity for growth and career advancement, and a highly competitive benefit package including 401(k), medical, dental, optical, life, personal, holiday, and vacation pay.
