Industrial Maintenance Technician
Sedona Technologies, a leader in the placement of Engineering and IT professionals, has a client in Greater Cedar Rapids Iowa Area that is looking to hire direct an Industrial Electrician.
Summary of position:
Maintaining, trouble shooting, and repairing all facilities and manufacturing equipment.
Qualifications:
Must have technical training in the following areas:Hydraulic/pneumatic system maintenance and repairMechanical power transmission maintenance and repairCombustion gas train maintenance and repairHVAC maintenance and repairIndustrial electronicsWelding and fabricationMachine tool operation, work platforms operationRobot and PLC programming and troubleshooting
Additional requirements:Associate's Degree in related field (preferred) or Journeyman level status as a Maintenance ElectricianHand-on's exprerience with PLC troubleshooting and programming. Specifically Allen Bradley (SLC500 & SLC5000)Fixing and replacing AC/DC motor drives and 3-phase motors (up to 480v)Fanuc & Mottman robotic experience Forklift License requiredHigh school diploma or GED or equivalent experienceDemonstrate understanding of how job performance affects product quality & customer satisfactionWork well with others, build and maintain positive employee relationsPrepare, read, and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures, and guidelinesManage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlinesWork flexible hours and overtime to be available to 3 shiftsUse computer and software as requiredWork with blueprints and sketchesAble to lift 75 pounds
Responsibilities:Troubleshoot plant facilities and production equipment problems Maintain and update equipment records, schematics, blueprints and files in order Training for professional development and to stay current on maintenance and safety requirements All work must be in accordance with IOSHA, NEC, JIC, and IDNR standards and regulations Complete correspondence, forms and reports using personal computer and software Maintain department repair parts stock and inventory Attend training Participate in Continual Improvement activities
