Job Description
This client is looking for an individual to manage and oversee the processes of ethics, diversity and corporation compliance and accountability for this $3B company with 22-plants in North America. This position reports to the Vice President of Administration and Services. The key responsibilities are the following:
1. Implements, monitors and administers a comprehensive organization-wide, internal audit and compliance program in critical areas of environmental, health and safety, diversity, financial or other similar compliance requirement.
2. Implements and maintains a system of management reporting that provides timely assessments to the top management with regard to external and internal compliance requirements.
3. Works with management to prevent, detect and ensure countermeasure of identified misconduct and wrong-doing via the enforcement of compliance program standards.
4. Monitors and achieves all departmental functional measurements.
5. Assists in the development of related departmental policies, procedures, audit checklists and systems.
6. Drafts, coordinates, supports and implements a company-wide training program to support ethics and diversity initiatives.
7. Manager and overseer of internal diversity committee structure and related activities. Assists in the development, training and enforcement of company-wide Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
The following are the key qualification/experience required for consideration:BS in Business, Compliance or related field or equivalent experience in related professional compliance and/or ethics work environment. 2 to 5-years compliance experience required. Spanish language skills are very desirable. Strong analytical and problems solving skills are important. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite Compensation and Benefits
The base compensation is $70,000, but for the right person, our client may pay more. The company offers an outstanding benefit program that includes 100% paid medical, dental, 401K, etc and relocation assistance is available.
