Global Learning ManagerJob Responsibilities:TRW Automotive is looking for an Global Learning Manager to join our Corporate Management and Organization Development Department at our Livonia, Michigan location. The group’s main focus is on management and organizational development, competency development, strategic training, executive assessment and recruitment, succession planning and performance management. Services are provided to a global organization that continues to flourish and grow in the automotive industry. The role will require the incumbent to serve managers located at the three main sites in the Detroit area. Must be a strategic, forward thinking individual whose primary focus areas will include:Manage the implementation and ongoing development for a corporate-wide Learning Management System.Works with the business unit to define a core curriculum and implement strategic training initiatives. These training initiatives will be competency-based and the initial thrust will be in the technical arena.Leads a cross-business Employee Development Network to accomplish objectivesIdentifies and manages appropriate external employee development partnersEvaluates training effectivenessManage and maintain the Company wide competency development system. Consult with business units on training strategy and curriculumBuild and maintain partnerships with business and functional unit HR leadershipThe candidate will also be assist in the implementation of a wide variety of organizational development interventions.Qualifications:Minimum 3-5 years experience in instructional design, training development, delivery and evaluation. Preference to those who have served a technical engineering population and who have global implementation experienceManaging, developing and implementing corporate-wide initiativesImplementation of a Learning Management SystemStrong project management skillsAdvanced PowerPoint skillsDemonstrated writing skillsExcellent platform and facilitation skillsStrong interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work with all levels of the organizationSuperior understanding of competency development and instructional design methodologiesLead cross-business and/or cross cultural unit teamsEducation:Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design and/or Organizational Development.
