Job Summary: The field operations training manager is responsible for providing operational, technical and manufacturing training for field team members and managing training processes and a training team. A successful incumbent possesses industry knowledge of manufacturing, logistics, distribution systems and operations coupled with experience in training methodology and attaining results. This is a highly visible position that makes independent decisions and determines training structure, implementation, and measurement. This position works across all LKQ companies. Travel up to 30%.
Candidate Requirements-Minimum Qualifications: · Bachelor's Degree in computer science, organizational development, business, or related field· 5 – 8 Years working in a management level position with direct reports· 7 – 10 years experience using Prelude or other sales/inventory/distribution systems· 7 – 10 years experience in training, training design, and applying adult learning principles· Experience designing training material for operational procedures, users, and operations reporting· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and application of training metrics· Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook· Excellent communication skills, delivery skills, and project planning and implementation· Expert in operations management and skill-based training· Strong research and partnership development skills Preferred Qualifications:· Activant Prelude, Prophet, Eclipse or other distribution solution software· Understanding of online learning systems and training application software· High level of learning agility
