Engineering Technician

This “hands-on� professional will support ACCEL/DFI customers and dealers through the tech phone, Web, email, or other forms of electronic media; assist with the development of Prestolite Performance product through validation, and other testing methods using engine and chassis dynos, and other test equipment; travel to specific race events, trade shows, tech seminars and various events to support and educate customers about the product. This position will also be responsible for providing recommendations of Prestolite Products for Customer Service personnel.

 

Must have knowledge of computers, engine and chassis, dynos, machining and assembly practices.  An Associate’s Degree or equivalent Mechanic’s certification with a minimum two to three years related experience is required.  Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
