Engineer / Sr Engineer

Major duties include: Perform ECU system engineering tasks for ECU development program, both at Bosch and on-site at customer location, as required. Coordinate S/W functional requirements with the design groups of  Bosch and the customer. Develop functional requirement documents. Test/validate new S/W package. Support customer test trips # hot and cold trips, altitude tests, validation, etc. Initiate/participate in program review meetings, interface studies, design reviews, FMEAs, etc. Perform failure analysis investigation of sample parts. Perform trouble shooting S/W and H/W. Help develop diagnostic procedures and evaluate service tools. Support build events at customer plants, as required. Minimum requirements include: Bachelor of Electrical or Computer Engineering. 5+ years of experience in a related industry. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to travel for tests, meetings, and training both in the U.S. and to Germany is required. Preferred: Previous automotive controls experience, especially with engine or aftertreatment systems. Basic German knowledge.
