This position is primarily working in a QA role on Embedded Software systems in DESÂ MOINES, IOWA.In this role, you will be: Working with embedded systems written primarily in C++, bus some C. Testing in environments ranging from simulation to full field testing. Using test processes including Load Testing, Integration, and Black Box (no white box or automated will be required). If you have ANY experience testing unmanned vehicles, we REALLY need to talk!Major Purpose and Duties: Our client is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to perform product testing and analysis work for a complete project of moderate scope or for a significant portion or sub-system of a major and diverse project. In this position, you will: Participate in the development of systems test plans for new GPS guidance products. Develop test methodology for verification of satellite based guidance systems and execution of the software test cases. Work with other engineers in the identification, root cause, and best solutions for defects. Communicate status and progress of systems test activities to management. Requirements: Ideal candidate would have 2-3 years of experience in Engineering discipline, but will consider new Engineering grads with solid internship experience. Strong desire to work with precision systems. Demonstrated technical leadership.Desired Skills and Experience (not required): 2-3 years of product development testing and verification. 2-3 years of experience with development cycles of electrical systems. Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent experience required.
