Embedded Software Manager - Electrical & Electronics Systems

Manage Navistar's Software Team which is responsible for embedded vehicular software across all Navistar truck platforms. One of the key challenges for our Software Team is balancing customer vehicle customization while maximizing code/test reuse. In addition to new feature development for existing product, the person filling this position will play a key role in developing a software architecture and strategy which meets our growing business needs both in terms of both increasing software content and expanding applications. The team is currently in a rapid-growth mode so the successful candidate must demonstrate strong leadership and team building skills as well.     This position will take a leading role in the Electrical & Electronics Systems group. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science At least 10 years experience in engineering product development Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time Electrical degree preferred.  At least 5 years experience managing technical professionals.
