Electronics Engineer

Gill Industries, a global supplier of precision engineered assemblies, is looking for an Electronics Engineer. You will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing electronic components, products, and systems for all applications. Designs electronic circuits, components, and integrated systems. Other duties include:Maintain a clean and safe work environment Maintain project records (Customer and Gill Designs) Facilitate and support prototype builds Manufacturability coordination and purchasing support Communicate and work effectively with all functions and departments (including suppliers and customers) to clarify and/or resolve product issues throughout the product development, launch, and production phases Technical engineering support for RFQs Assist in supplier evaluation and selection Negotiate product requirements with customers Develop project specifications Test theoretical designs Produce details and specifications and outline designs Systematically design or improve the detailed design of a piece or pieces of electronic systems, making sure their performance meets specification Ensure that a product will work with devices developed by others, can be made reliably, and will perform consistently in a specified operating environments Follow GLP development process and refine process as necessary Support the sales group in pursuing new business opportunities and in the presentation of technical and commercial issues Attend training to maintain and update skills

Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent technical experience Sound application of engineering and physical science fundamentals Written and oral communication skills Communicate effectively and professionally with all departments of the organization and with external suppliers and customers Ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook Must be able to work independently
