DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MillenWorks is looking for a mid level Electrical Technician with a minimum of 3 years in the automotive industry.  Duties and Responsibilities include:

· Prototype printed circuit board assembly (surface mount and through-hole)

· Vehicle wiring and harness assembly

· Industrial control panel layout and wiring

· Assist engineers with design and development of electrical circuits

· Perform lab tests to verify circuit and systems performance

· Maintain calibration records for lab equipment

· Maintain electrical department and reorder electrical department consumables

REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES

 U.S. Citizen strongly desired or Permanent Resident

· Years of relevant work experience: 5+ years

· Must have minimum AA or diploma from accredited technical school

· A fundamental understanding of basic analog and digital circuits

· Ability to read and interpret basic electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

· Flexible “can do� attitude; team player; able to take directions and work unsupervised; self-motivated

· Professional courtesy, manners and demeanor.  Overall a positive attitude and ability to communicate tactfully with peers and able to accept/implement feedback received

· An interest in learning new skills/technologies required

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES

 Prior work experience with a small company (< 100 employees) OR candidate has worked on several group projects outside of normal class work (robotics club, SAE, special projects for professors, etc.)Prior experience assembling wiring harnesses, especially racing and/or military stylePrior experience with SMD PCB/PCA assembly (soldering, rework, etc.)Experience working in automotive industryDetail oriented but efficiency consciousFamiliarity with electrical tools (crimp tools, soldering tools, digital multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply, etc.)Familiarity with IPC standards and ISO procedures

COMPENSATION

Salary is negotiable based on experience. For permanent full-time employees, MillenWorks offers medical, dental, and vision insurance.  We also offer Flexible Spending Accounts for medical and childcare, Life insurance, Long-term disability and participation in 401K.  MillenWorks has a 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off).

US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.  Sorry, work visa holders need not apply.
