Documentation Technician
Documentation TechnicianDescription: Requirements: • Coordinate, prepare, review and implement engineering design and documentation changes. • Create and check IMACS documentation in support of engineering projects and per serial releases ensuring that engineering standards and procedures are met. • Coordinate the release process with Manufacturing Engineering, Product Data Control, Manufacturing Release, and other departments. • Interpret, analyze, and coordinate complex design changes relative to implementation dates and potential backlog implications. • Provide technical assistance to design engineering professionals in order to ensure accurate design documentation. • Monitor and coordinate the overall timing and flow of releases for projects ensuring that schedules are being met. • Ensure that documentation standards and procedures keep pace with current practices and business requirements. • Advise management when changes to documentation standards and procedures are needed and assist in writing new standards and procedures. • Provide IMACS training to other group members and Engineers as required. • Participate in special project assignments as requested by management.Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer Requirements: Basic Qualifications: A Bachelor Degree.
