Director Of Operations

Lacks Wheel Trim Systems is a Division Of Lacks Enterprises headquartered in Grand Rapids, Mi., and is engaged in the manufacture of chrome-clad wheels and wheel  trim products for original equipment manufacturers.  This Division has four manufacturing plants located in Kentwood,  Mi., employing approximately 400 people,with 65 million in sales and growing booked business.

The Wheel Trim Division has an opening for a Director of Operations who would be responsible the production, material, and quality groups.  The preferred candidate will have at least 10 years experience in manufacturing operations, have a working knowledge of sophisticated production systems, and have a record of cost cutting achievements.

This position is part of a succession plan, as we are  looking for candidates who demonstrate the potential to become a General Manager within a five year time frame.  Accordingly, we are very interested in finding candidates with significant manufacturing experience with a track record of success and increased responsibility, but may also have had related experience in one of the engineering disciplines, sales and marketing, business development, R & D, etc.
