DOT Fleet Manager

General Function:This individual will manage both Fleet and Car Allowance Program for NATCO to includeManage the fleet for US and CanadaWork with leasing companies to purchase vehiclesTrack usageManage vehicle repairsTrack and report accidents / incidentsMonitor driver’s licenses for excessive traffic violations Car Allowance ProgramManage the car allowance program for US and CanadaMaintain current insurance files and driver’s license checks on each employee with a car allowanceAdd and delete employees to the program as neededWork with HR and payroll to make sure employees are in the right program level and are receiving their allowance Periodically review with upper management the mileage reimbursement level to remain competitiveWork with HR to bi-annually review competitive allowance levels Job Duties:Maintain all Driver Qualification Files at central location.Review all background checks for new drivers to ensure they meet NATCO's guidelines.Provide/setup DOT training for drivers at their location.Perform field audits on all DOT vehicles including documentation they maintain.Notify locations when medical exams need to be renewed.Monitor Federal/State database concerning NATCO violations. Education/Credentials: High School degree, Some college work preferred  Job Relevant Experience:  2+ years fleet supervisory/management experience preferred CDL A required ASE Mechanic experience and certification preferred.  Job-Related Skills: Knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, Internet, and email Ability to work in very fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Deadline oriented Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle industry and regulations Proactive attitude Extremely strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills both verbal and written   "Wherever you are in the world , whatever your oil, gas, or water process challenge, count on NATCO to deliver your solution."
