Power and Associates is a global marketing information firm that conducts independent and unbiased surveys of customer satisfaction, product quality and buyer behavior.We are currently seeking a Director of North American Forecasting in Troy, MI.   Key Goals of this Position: Direct North American Forecast team with responsibility of the sales and production forecasts and coordination with other regional teams. Lead analysis and forecast of North American vehicle sales and production, including coordination with global forecast team. Continually improve the North American forecasts in terms of accuracy, comprehensiveness, analytical content and ease of use. Represent Automotive Forecasting and serve as regional expert with  the North American Forecast clients and internal groups, making presentations and providing analysis of powertrain production trends. Participate in integrated solutions that utilize forecasting, Power Information Network and research data. Education/Experience Required: BA/BS degree - MBA desirable - (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of experience working in the Automotive industry, specific work with an OEM or supplier is preferred. 3+ years of experience in demand and production forecasting or competitive vehicle analysis 2 to 3 years of progressive management experience. Strong analytical capability with detailed understanding of software and data management tools (Specifically OLAP) Position Challenges: Development of forecast rationale and accuracy in a dynamic environment. Creating a partnership type relationship  with clients. Clearly understand needs of our diverse client base and adapting to individual needs. Integrating vast amounts of internal and external data/inputs to drive forecast.   Established in 1968, J.D.
