Coordinator, Supply Chain

Position SummaryThe primary objective of the Coordinator, Supply Chain is to manage the relationships with suppliers for flawless execution of parts inventory expediting, availability and ETA establishment for U.S. and Mexico dealers. Responsibilities include the management of the entire procurement chain from order placement to receipt. This position is responsible for improving processes and relationships between MNAO, the distribution network, and suppliers.Essential Duties Manage parts supply chain to ensure satisfactory delivery performance of all orders; 1.Verify order receipt by supplier 2.Negotiate to cancel or expedite orders utilizing system generated action messages and backorder reports 3.Expedite emergency orders & past due purchase orders 4.Provide forecasts for future orders 5.Reconcile MNAO order files with Caterpillar order files and orders provided to suppliers 6.Create and provide weekly Open Order Reports to suppliersIdentify and resolve supplier issues; 1.Evaluate imbalanced advanced shipping notifications (ASNs) and determine the appropriate part, quantity or vendor code that is needed to correct and make available for receipt at warehouse 2.Identify order issues and work as liaison between Purchasing Department and suppliers to resolve; lead-times, lot sizes, planner IDs, Bill of Distribution, pricing, etc.Communicate parts supply issues to dealers; 1.Establish valid ETAs 2.Negotiate expedited ETAs for emergency orders >li>Analyze, review, and coordinate discrepancies with receiving and payment issues between the warehouses, suppliers, and Accounts Payable DepartmentDetermine acceptable expense to expedite inventory to ensure parts availability. (Autonomy up to $2K)Qualifications: Education (Minimum) Associate degree (or equivalent)Experience 1-3 yearsTraining/Certification Business Administration, Inventory desiredKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAnalytical skills requiredStrong written and verbal communication skills requiredAbility to multitask and prioritize requiredNegotiation skills requiredComputer systems - Microsoft Office required, Mainframe experience desired
