Consultant/Principal - Quality - Global Consulting Firm

Primary industry focus for initial hires includes Automotive, General Manufacturing and Engineering, Electronics, and Chemicals and Life Sciences.  We are specifically looking for talent with hands on operations experience in Quality Management.

 

Qualified candidates at the Consultant level will offer:The ability, professionalism and presence to relate in both a formal and informal setting4 - 8 years of solid industry and quality/Six Sigma experience from a recognized corporation – typically an industry leader or tier one supplier, or combined with strategic consulting experience from a leading global firmA degree in Engineering – Mechanical or Electrical, or a Business degree - with top grades from a top school – and an advanced degree is preferred – MS, MBADirect “hands on� operations experience in the Automotive, General Manufacturing or Engineering Sectors – or potentially in Electronics, Chemicals, Life Sciences or Utilities. The desire to build or fast-track their career in consultingHighly refined analytical and problem solving skills, combined with the energy and enthusiasm to work independently, or as a member/leader of small teamsAn above average competence in a particular functionThe desire and ability to market or to support marketing initiativesThe ability and desire to travel upwards of five days per week – including international travelOutstanding interpersonal and communications skills, and the ability to relate at all levels within an organization



Qualified candidates at the Principal level will offer all of the above, plus:5 - 10 years of solid industry and quality/Six Sigma experience from a recognized corporation - combined with strategic consulting experience from a leading global firmAn advanced degree (MS, PhD) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Biomedical) or an MBA from a leading institutionHighly refined analytical and problem solving skills, with functional expertise in Quality Management/Six Sigma and demonstrated Project Management experienceDemonstrated leadership and business development experience – combined with the desire and ability to build a business A solid Rolodex in their area of functional expertise
