Automotive Interior Designer

Position Description:
Bring your skills in drafting and your attention to design to this role for Honda R&D Americas, Inc. You’ll be responsible for making 3D designs and 2D layouts. Other duties will include: Calculating and controlling component parts Managing surface development for Interior Trim components (Roof Lining, Pillar Garnishes, Door Linings, Floor and Trunk Areas, etc.) Managing development projects Coordinating with other departments, suppliers and manufacturing Position Requirements:
Success requires: BSME and 1+ years of experience in an automotive, drafting or design capacity or equivalent combination of education and experience Background that includes drafting, CATIA, vendor support/negotiation and manufacturing support PC proficiency with MS Office and other technical software Excellent communication/interpersonal skills Ability to travel and work overtime Company Overview:
