Products include body sealing systems, fluid handling systems, and NVH control systems. Cooper-Standard Automotive Inc. employs more than 19,000 people across 80 facilities in 19 countries. We are currently seeking a SAP Analyst (Basis & Security).

 

Responsible for SAP security design and configuration for global SAP systems to ensure that all application modules are functional and secured. Includes providing SAP BASIS layer integration and troubleshooting support for the Global SAP Development Instance.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide design and configuration of ‘standardized’ roles for Business and Technical SAP users; providing segregation of business users from technical users and supporting the organizational hierarchy design.Provides BASIS support to the development and configuration staff for problem research, SAP OSS contacts and coordination of patch levels installation to the development environment. Define security standards for Development and security role designConducts transports from Development to QA, upon authorization Builds clients and security between clients within the development instance, coordinates with Operations BASIS for the QA, Pre-prod and Production Instances. Ensure compliance to Security Policies, Procedures, and Control Sets. Work with internal audit resources and SAP security administrators.  Travel is expected at 25% to 50%. Through 2008, extensive travel to France and Germany to do knowledge transfer of the CSA SAP Program.

 

Required Education and/or Experience:Bachelors degree in business or IT field. 3 + years of SAP Security Design, and Implementation experience2 + years of SAP Basis experienceExperience with Segregation of Duties (SOD) resolution
Experience with SAP security role creation and maintenance using ECC 5.0 or ECC 6.0Experience with SAP Business Information Warehouse Security
Strong understanding of authorization concept, SU24 maintenancePreferred, experience with a Governance, Risk, and Compliance tool set (Approva/Bizrights, VIRSA (now SAP GRC), or others)SAP Security experience of at least 3 yearsSOX experience – in an SAP environmentExperience in global SAP environmentsDesigned and knowledgeable of SAP “role-based” securityExperience with  SAP Basis and Application Module understandingStrong verbal and written communications skillsStrong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skillsHighly developed knowledge of SAP security configuration.Self-motivated team player.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a complex environment.
