Accounting jobs: Accounting Manager-- Corporate

We have a position available in our Corporate Finance department as the Accounting Manager, Pensions at our corporate headquarters location in Danvers, MA.​ Pension experience is not required, but significant accounting and managerial acumen is.​

This position is responsible for all facets of company sponsored defined benefit and defined contribution plans; serving as the technical expert for related accounting & actuarial interpretation, and required reporting.​ Coordinated reporting includes: internal, external, and regulatory.​

Additional responsibilities include:
- Manage the efforts of the department to ensure timely management, analysis and reporting of the pension and savings plans
- Manage ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to management.​
- Communicate actual, FCST, budget and variance analysis.​
- Regularly review and report on the activity of the trustee.​
- Coordinate external audit of all pension plans and present year-end adjustment review to executive management.​
-Collaborate with the OSI Tax department to deliver tax returns specific to the pension and savings plans.​
- Coordinate disclosure reporting.​
- Manage 1 direct report, including mentoring and performance management.​

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.​ We have a very strong preference for CPAs or MBAs or MSAs
- Minimum of 10 yrs of accounting, finance or directly related experience required.​ At least 5 years of this experience must include managing others.​
- Experience with International Accounting Standards (IAS) desired.​
- Proven ability to effectively manage projects on-time and within budget.​
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across global departments.​
- Experience with actuarial accounting and reporting a plus.​
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.​
