Position Description

Account Manager

Distributor territories: Detroit Diesel Allison Mexico

* Develop and execute sales programs designed to increase Allison volume and penetration

* Identify and pursue non-users in targeted markets and vocations

* Regularly call on and assist OEM dealer sales people

* Develop and conduct dealer sales meetings

* Run, analyze and make recommendations from SCAAN (System Computerized Application Analysis)

* Negotiate and manage sales incentives

* Manager customer support issues that would influence customer satisfaction or impact sales

*Make effective Sales presentations

Position Requirements

Required:  Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred:  Minimum of five years experience working with Allison distribution system.

Required: Good oral and written communication skills

Good interpersonal skills

Ability to travel on a regular basis for company business

Thorough understanding of Allison distribution system, policies, and procedures

Willingness to relocate with Allison Southern Region

Demonstrated ability to build valued business relationships

Preferred:  Self-starter, results-oriented

Capable of professionally representing ATI

Can work effectively without close supervision

Good computer skills

Good analytical skills

Good strategic planning skills

Marketing and Sales background or training

Basic heavy duty automotive tech background
