129 - Project Engineer - Powertrain Development and Testing

FEV, a global engineering services leader providing full vehicle support to the automotive community as well as the heavy-duty and commercial engine industry is seeking a qualified engineer who is experienced in the area of vehicle powertrain testing and engine calibration. If you are interested in joining a team of experienced engineers developing advanced technologies to address future fuel economy and emissions requirements, FEV is where you want to be. Position Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include vehicle application of powertrains and testing of engines and powertrains in-vehicle.  The responsibilities may also include the calibration and testing of enigne /powertrain control systems for function, emissions, fuel economy and OBDII.  The Project Engineer will also be responsible for resolving hardware and diagnostic issues, as well as preparing reports and presenting data on the above topics. Qualifications: BSME or BSEE Minimum required Understanding of vehicle emissions and diagnostic requirements Knowledge of certification procedures for exhaust emissions and OBD-II Demonstrated teamwork, leadership and project management skills Exceptional customer communication and presentation skills Engine and vehicle powertrain calibration experience Hybrid systems knowledge is a plus 2 to 5  years experience in related positions For more detailed information regarding FEV, Inc. feel free to visit our web site at www.fev.com.
