Tower Crane and Hoist Technicians

Job Description:

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Tower Crane and Construction Elevator.  Ensure assembly and dismantle of Tower Cranes and Construction Elevator is performed to Mfr. specifications Perform preventive maintenance and inspections as recommended by Mfr., on Tower Cranes and Hoists. Troubleshoot and repair Tower Cranes and Hoists. Program computers and instruct operators. Complete maintenance, repair logs, and service reports. Communicate with customers and coworkers in a professional manner. Clean and maintain safe work area in compliance with OSHA regulations. Maintain and secure work tools. Tag out / Lock out equipment when not in use.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:2 to 4 years Crane and Hoist Technician experience preferred.Mfr.certifications preferred, training will be provided.Dependable, with strong problem solving skils and an excellent safety record.Strong oral and written communication skills.Valid Driver License requiredMust be willing to travel within west coast regionComputer literate using Microsoft OfficeHigh school graduate or equivalent with secondary mechanical education training

Physical Requirements:Working in challenging weather conditions, will perform extensive climbing, pulling, stretching, and twisting on Tower Cranes.Must be flexible and able to work in small confined areas.Perform frequent lifting and carrying materials weighing 50 to 75 lbsStanding or sitting for long periods may be required.
