Supply Chain Coordinator

Requirements

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company currently has an opening for a Supply Chain Coordinator at its' corporate headquarters in Akron, Ohio.

Primary Purpose of the Position:
* General support to management and supply chain, specifically in the areas of Strategic Accounts, Transportation, and Production Planning.
* Contribute to effective supply and customer satisfaction.
* Provide analytical support to cross functional teams such as Production Planning, Transportation, Strategic Accounts, Six Sigma or CPFR.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
* Collaborating with customers to achieve satisfaction by communicating any issues or problems while also evaluating current products received and future products desired.
* Project membership and support. Play an active and contributing role in various cross functional and independent projects through management, analysis, or data development - with the ultimate goal of developing into a collaborative and cooperative 'team player' on a organization-wide level.
* Ensuring on-time and in-full deliveries through coordination with Production Planning, Forecasting, Transportation and Strategic Account groups in order to meet established fill rate goals.
* Provide analytical support by monitoring metrics for the customer, management and team, while also creating Ad Hoc analysis as needed.
* Coordinate with Transportation, Production Planning and Strategic Accounts to assist in effectively managing supply.


Qualifications:
Required-
* Bachelor's or higher level degree in supply chain, economics, finance or related field.
* Demonstrate above average skills in MS Office with emphasis on Access and Excel.
* Strong verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to quickly learn new tools, systems, etc.
* Ability to not only identify problems but also take action towards solving them.
* Aptitude to manage by influence not only by hierarchy.


Preferred-
* Master's Degree in supply chain, economics, finance or related field.
* Internship experience desired
* SAP experience would be beneficial - but not necessary.
