Allstate was founded in 1931 and became a publicly traded company in 1993. Encompass Insurance, a subsidiary of Allstate Insurance Company has an immediate employment opportunity for an Outside Auto Sr. Claim Service Adjuster position servicing the southern NY metro and western Nassau county markets. In this vital role, you will be responsible for inspecting and appraising auto physical damage and negotiating damage settlements along with preparing total loss evaluations and settlements. The appraisal product will be prepared using computer based Audatex Penpro and Autosource software. You will be documenting claim activity and following processes that provide fair settlements or claim resolutions, customer satisfaction and excellent cost management.     Our ideal candidate has 5+ years estimating and claim adjusting experience, a four-year college degree, excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as strong computer skills.  Candidates should possess the ability to manage relationships in a fast paced environment, while demonstrating persistence and problem solving skills.  Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. A valid NYS Independent Adjusters License is required for this position. I-Car and or ASE training and certification a plus.
