Sales Manager

Involved in the staffing process and gives input for the performance evaluations. Conducts ongoing training and one-on-one’s to develop sales operation at assigned dealership. Schedules sales staff to ensure consistent customer coverage at the dealership. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to provide general guidelines and parameters for the job and are not intended to be a comprehensive, detailed description of the job. The immediate supervisor and the employee should mutually establish detailed job duties and responsibilities. Monitors sales associate customer logs. Verifies sales associate goals and customer follow-up. Coaches and trains sales associates. Assists sales associates and customers in completing deals and does a quality control check to ensure the deals are complete. Pull and reviews credit application. Interviews the customer regarding background and history and gives input to General Manager. Verifies employment of customer. Monitors customer payment tracking. Experience in retail or customer service management; car sales management a plus. Excellent communication skills and understanding people skills are required. Ability to interact with customers, managers and coworkers in a professional, courteous manner. PC skills using Microsoft Office is desirable. Valid driver’s license. OR Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
