The role of the Sales Engineer is to work with the UpTime sales team to identify value-added solutions to customers' needs. These solutions may be in the form of redesigning an existing part for longer life, creating unique repair "kits" used in vehicle maintenance, or working with suppliers to create new, improved products. This position requires a combination of strong technical ability, exceptional customer service skills, and industry knowledge. The Sales Engineer will be a technical resource for the materials management team. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or at least 7 years of technical sales experience At least 6 years of product engineering support, sales or marketing experience At least 6 years of automotive/trucking industry experience Positive Attitude, Ethics, and International Values which support our company's values, and a healthy, high performance culture   Desired Skills: Mechanical Engineer Excellent written and verbal communication skills Effective at being in the direct line of customer issues while maintaining a resolutions-oriented focus  Sales savvy  Change-oriented; able to thrive in a rapidly growing business enterprise UpTime Parts, LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Navistar with its own compensation and benefits package.   Visit us at www.Navistar.com to discover more about our organization.   Powering Ingenuity.
