We are currently seeking a Repossession Manager.   POSITION SUMMARY: Oversees the activities of employees engaged in repossessing vehicles on active accounts and unwinds.  Prepares and maintains employee schedule and trains staff.  This position is responsible for the overall performance of the assigned work unit.   ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to provide general guidelines and parameters for the job and are not intended to be a comprehensive, detailed description of the job.  The immediate supervisor and the employee should mutually establish detailed job duties and responsibilities. Oversees all operations and employees in assigned work unit.  Hires, orients or trains, evaluates, disciplines, and terminates staff.  Monitors productivity on daily/monthly reports. Authorizes requests to repossess vehicle when customer has failed to make payments. Ensures all unwind repossessions approved by the Loan Review department are assigned for repossession and are worked in a timely manner. Instructs and supervises in documenting all recovery efforts in the computer system. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.  Degree a plus.  Three years of experience collecting on delinquent/repossession accounts. Supervisory/management experience in a collections environment a plus.
