Project Coordinator

Requirements

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company currently has an opening for a Project Coordinator at its' corporate headquarters in Akron, Ohio.

Primary Purpose of the Position:
Manage and support small to medium-sized projects, including capital and engineering projects, IT projects, and supply chain and logistics projects, undertaken by the manufacturing organization with use of company defined and trained project management methodology.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
* Communicate project status and requirements to Project Manager and senior NAT Leadership. Execute and drive projects to completion.
* Contributes to and supports cross functional teams on multiple projects and process implementations.
* Identifies resources needed.
* Participates in regular status meetings with project management team.
* Responsible for the execution of projects including adhering to timelines, deliverables and budget objectives.
* Minimizes exposure and risk.
* Executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
* Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
* Support change efforts to integrate multiple functions within NAT Mfg.

Qualifications:
Required-
* Bachelor's or higher level Degree in Logistics, Business Management, Engineering or related field
* Project Management experience and/or Operations Management experience.
* Experience in project management or operations in the manufacturing or logistics industries.
* Must be comfortable working in a broad spectrum of operating environments.
* Strong computer and technical skills, such as MS Project.
* Effective planning and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

Preferred-
* MBA or Masters
