New/Used Car Sales Representative

SALESPERSON JOB DESCRIPTION

 GENERAL SUMMARY

Serves as guide to facilitate the customer buying experience.  Introduces customer to Broadway Ford’s hassle-free buying process.  Facilitates interview, at customers pace, to discover customer’s preferences, needs, and buying motives.  Matches customer needs with model and equipment and presents vehicle in terms of customer’s interest.  Offers and accompanies customer(s) on test drive.  Offers customer involvement in trade-in evaluation, presents financial proposition, satisfies customer concerns and asks for the order.  Conducts Broadway Ford’s delivery process, and follows up in prescribed manner with customer.  Follows up with customers after delivery in prescribed Broadway Ford’s manner to develop customer loyalty. Reports to: Sales Manager

 Education Requirements

 *High School degree or equivalent required

 

 *Valid driver’s license

 Experience

 *One year in a retail environment preferred

 

**Responsible for other duties as assigned and/or required by business need**

 Physical Requirements

 *Moving throughout the sales department and grounds

 

 *Using computer to look up information

 

 *Standing six to eight hours during a shift

 

 *Bending, stretching, lifting, reaching and climbing

 

 *Using equipment consistently with industry standards

 

 *Using a video display terminal

 

 *Driving a vehicle

 Usual Hours of Work

 

  Monday – Friday    8 am to 7 pm  

   one week day off per week

 Saturday                  9 am to 6 pm

 

 

Breaks and lunches will be scheduled based on work flow.
