Help Cummins Southern Plains, LLC be a leader in the Diesel industry by acting as the Journey Fabrication Technician who develops mechanical equipment; determines project objectives; builds and evaluates equipment; prepares operating manual; ensures operation of equipment; maintains supplies inventory and engineering database. Qualifications Intermediate welding and fabrication skills.Fabricate special brackets for power units and generator sets Maintains inventory and equipment to ensure smooth office operation. Competently analyzes and prioritizes information to make appropriate recommendations. Experience analyzing complex functions, procedures, and problems to find creative, logical, and effective solutions. Grasps technical concepts and communicates them quickly. Familiarity with the terminology used in the data processing field. Modify and or assemble components into a generator set or power unit configuration as required to meet customer's specifications. Knowledge of quality and inspection requirements, manufacturing processes, and measurement techniques. Ability to operate forklift. Working knowledge of blueprints and wiring diagrams Pays attention to detail. Approaches work in a meticulous and thorough manner. Test engines for deficiencies prior to shipment High School Diploma or equivalent experience. Benefits We recognize people as our most valuable asset.
