Address the Human Resources needs for internal customer by providing services that include staffing, employee orientation, pay administration, training employee relations, policy administration and implementation of key human resources initiatives that support the needs of the business.
Role Responsibilities
Identify talent needs and work with leaders to staff the needs of the employee who possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to be successful in their assigned positions. Facilitate recruitment, interviewing, assessment and placement efforts for new hires and promotions/transfers. Work with leaders to facilitate talent planning process. Develop compensation offers. Facilitate and or coordinate new employee orientation and new supervisor training to ensure that employees receive critical information to help them acclimate and be successful in their new work environment and or positions. Identify employee training and development needs and facilitate and or coordinate resources to enhance organizational learning. Provide coaching to leaders in support of performance management, employee relations, and human resources policy and benefits administration issues. Guide leaders on effective solutions for addressing disciplinary and other complex issues. Support the effective implementation and execution of key business and human resources initiatives. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. Serve as employee point-of-contact to address questions concerning human resources policies, payroll, and employee benefits. Identify local workforce issues and recommend organizational strategies and interventions. Promote positive employee relations and performance via employee communications and employee engagement activities. Develop and implement employer of choice practices. Administer employee increases, records, leaves of absences and disability process, FMLA, and all other human resources policies. Coordinate with corporate points-of-contact as appropriate. Process employee data transactions and update human resources information system accordingly. Provide local support for performance process (PMP), merit pay and bonus programs. Position will require approximately 10% travel and ability to work flexible schedule.

Formal Education
Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field Desired

Knowledge of all functional areas of Human Resources Proven communications, presentation, and facilitation skills Thorough understanding of federal and state employment, labor, health and safety laws (OSHA) Competent counseling, coaching and conflict resolution skills PHR or SPHR Human Resources designation desired Experience with SAP Personnel Management Systems Advanced PC skills and experience with Human Resources Information Systems
