Primary Purpose of the Position:
Perform statistical analysis and gather all appropriate inputs from various organizations to develop sales forecasts used for business, financial, and operations planning.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide input to the Demand Planner in the development of item level inventory targets and stocking policies
* Develop/provide unconstrained replenishment plan to Final Assembly Scheduling (FAS) Planner or Manufacturing
* Provide supply/schedule data to Customer Order Fulfillment coordinator for order commitment
* Assist to evaluate supply across the network and works with Demand manager to re-balance to meet demand as appropriate
* Assist to identify abnormal item level demand issues and brings to the Demand Manager for resolution
* Manage item level conversions
* Work with manufacturing to identify product needs that fall out of normal manufacturing scope
* Monitor performance against key metrics
* Manage non-productive inventory
* Place orders and communicates rolling horizon forecasts (production plan) developed by Demand Manager
* Track down shipments from Manufacturing Plants
* Develop constrained Final Assembly Scheduling (FAS)
* Resolve capacity/material issues with Regional Supply Manager and/or with manufacturing
* Allocate constrained supply to domestic and export customer /replenishment in alignment with allocation plans developed by Demand Manager
* Provide supply/schedule data to Customer Service for order commitment
* Expedite customers' orders with Product Logistics
* Investigate customer order discrepancies
* Participate in and occasionally lends assistance to process improvement projects






Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Economics, Engineering, Business or related field. MBA or higher level degree preferred.

Successful candidates should have at least a 3.0 GPA or proven academic achievement in core Supply Chain courses.

Knowledge and experience:
* Understanding of supply chain
* Strong communication skills
* Demonstrated execution, coordination and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently
* Strong computer skills
