The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has openings for bright, talented college graduates to enter a formal training program for key roles in our North American Tire Sales Organization in areas throughout the United States.

Job Content
*Service tire dealers and wholesale distributors within an assigned geographic territory.
*Establish strategic new dealerships and distributors by selling tire products to prospective dealers.
*Assist large regional retailers and corporate accounts at specified locations.
*Attain assigned sales objective with the designated geographic territory.
*Prepare account plans with defined targeted sales growth for designated accounts within the sales territory.
*Find new distribution opportunities where voids exist in sales territory or lack of sales performance.
*Sell business solutions that include tire products and dealers to Commercial Fleets
*Facilitate the sell out of our products by building product screens that create solutions and value for our dealers.
*Make account maintenance calls on wholesale distributor warehouses and associated dealers.
*Become the sales/business consultant of choice among multi branded dealers in assigned territory.

Key Objectives
*Meet sales objectives that include units, dollars, product mix, and margin.
*Meet growth objectives.
*Facilitate dealer sell out by coordinating promotions, training, and providing point of sale recommendations.

Education and Qualifications
*Graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Business in December 2008 or May and August of 2009 - Required
*The successful candidate should have at least a 3.0 GPA
*Must be willing to relocate after initial training and first assignment - Required
*Successful completion of experiential based training program - Required

*Must be willing to travel
