District Sales Manager - South West
Description:
This position is responsible for maximizing revenue growth by improving penetration of the used truck dealer warranty accounts in assigned customer/prospect territory. The customer base is defined as dealers representing high revenue potential. Further, this position is responsible for development of new multi-dealer opportunities. This position requires continuous territory management and travel.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Achieve all assigned revenue goals.
· Comprehensive territory management:
· Dealer Training Sessions
· Business reviews
· Prospecting and qualifying to identify key dealer customer opportunities and develop strategies to effectively sell into them.
· Account Planning
· Dealer Support
· Set up training and dealer portal sessions and use NTP authorized sales training skills to effectively present, promote, and sell NTP warranty products
· Maintain current customer and prospect profiles through customer audits and prospecting to develop a solid 90 day pipeline.
· Complete all assigned CRM requirements on a timely basis. Update on a daily basis customer profile databases as required to maintain current records.
· Work closely with inside sales to identify and sell new and existing dealers.
· Maintain expense level within assigned expense budget.
SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS
· Cold calling of truck dealerships
· Calling existing customers
· Communicate new programs and keep customers updated and informed
· Educate customers on value of warranties and get deeper account penetration
· Train dealer salespeople
· Sell value of pre-inspection
· Sell value of dealer portal
· Coordinate sales and support activities with field
· Provide management with sales reports and projections
· Fully utilize and maintain the Sales Net System
· Manage Target customer list
· Maintain Territory and coverage plans with visit rotation
· Achieve 2x sales targets and goals
· Manage HPA accounts within territory
· Actively open new accounts

· Increase Medium Duty Warranty Sales
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
· College degree or equivalent industry/customer experience.
· 3-10 years direct field sales experience
· Formal training experience a plus
· Must be experienced in solutions-based consultative sales.
· Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present NTP services, provide required follow-up correspondence, service proposals, use plans and other forms of communication required to support and service their customers/prospects.
· Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
· Demonstrated success in selling or consulting in a “remote management” environment
· Excellent organizational skills
· Excellent communication skills -- verbal and written
