Diesel and/or School Bus Mechanic Position

Responsibilities :
Performing Preventative Maintenance on Mixed Diesel School Bus Fleet Conduct fuel and electrical diagnostics with limited supervision Complete most repairs and parts replacements Accurately complete written record of work performed Communicate with Drivers regarding “Vehicle Condition Reports� and make appropriate repairs Maintain a clean work and shop area as directed

Primary Duties: Preventative Maintenance Oil changes Air/hydraulic brakes Suspensions Transmissions General maintenance



Requirements
Qualifications: Must have at least 2 years experience in vehicle maintenance and/or repair. High school diploma or equivalent required Must provide your own tools Must possess valid clear driver’s license Must be able to pass background checks and compliance Criminal history check DMV check SSN check DOT Drug TestTrade school, mechanical course, or equivalent highly desired.

Working Conditions: Shop, office, yard, vehicle environment, may require lifting of 20 to 50 lbs., at least once a day.
