Competitive Hourly Flat Rate.  $20.00 to $32.00 per hour (Rate of pay is determined by experience and qualifications)

 

Billable Hour Bonus:$2.00 per billable hour bonus.

Sign On Bonuses:  'Sign On Bonus' paid after 90 days continuous service.

 Position Description

The Performance Truck Group in Houston is currently seeking 'Qualified Experienced Diesel Mechanics' to accommodate our growing service needs. Normal weekly shifts are available as well as our four on four off twelve hour rotating shifts.

 Skills and Qualification

Mechanics are responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with our in-house and manufacturers' standards.

 

Qualified candidates will have:3+ years hands on experience, as diesel technician/mechanic is shop environment. Extensive knowledge in the repair and maintenance of diesel engines & power trains. Own your own tools. Have or be able to get a CDL. Able to read, understand, & apply information from manuals & computer including trouble-shooting documents. Diagnostic skills/experience & attention to detail a must. Strong verbal & documentation skills Strong character & work ethic Dependable, responsible team player with a positive attitude Experience and qualifications on Caterpillar, Cummins and Mack engines will be highly regarded.
