Consumer Finance Sales Representative

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Sales Representative develops, establishes, and maintains business relationships both internally and externally to accomplish the sales goals within his or her assigned dealership. He or she is accountable for correctly implementing the J.D. Byrider program with every customer.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:Understands how the J.D. Byrider and CNAC Finance Operations work and is able to explain it to customers in everyday terms.Sets and achieves a daily and monthly number of sales prospects, phone calls and number of appointments.Prospects new leads through referral networking, old leads and sold customers.Handles all incoming phone calls with the utmost professionalism.Uses J.D. Byrider sales tools such as the flip chart to explain the J.D. Byrider program that builds value and delivers the J.D. Byrider Program to the potential customer.Serves customers by selling them a dependable vehicle that confirms to their expressed needs and budget.Drives or inspects the inventory daily.  Advises management of any mechanical or cosmetic problems noticed.

 

 

Our store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.  While schedules may vary from week to week, each sales representative is required to have the flexibility to commit to working three days 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and two evenings 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

At least one year of sales experience

Ability to build rapport

Positive attitude and professional demeanor

College degree is preferable

Proven track record of success in commissioned phone sales, rent-to-own sales, insurance/investment sales, or retail sales highly preferred
