Automotive Technician (Not Flat Rate!)
J.D. Byrider, the nation’s largest used car and sub-prime finance company is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician. A can-do attitude is an absolute must! We're looking for a highly skilled technician who prefers a wide variety of responsibilities and who can jump in wherever needed to satisfy our customers' needs. If you can provide exceptional heavy line, diagnostic and general line service this may be the job for you!
We offer top hourly pay (not flat rate!) based on experience and a monthly bonus plan up to $400 a month. We also offer an excellent benefits package and great paid time off plan. Due to our continued growth, great opportunities for career advancement exist.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Follow established company policies and procedures to inspect, diagnose, and perform approved necessary repairs on any authorized vehicle. Through experience, develop diagnostic capabilities enabling personal growth, certification and promotability. ASE certification in areas of specialization is recommended. The position supports the sales function by completing each job on time, without error or omission. Our Service departments are open 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday – Friday. Occasional Saturdays are necessary as needed to accommodate our customers.

REQUIREMENTS:
A current, valid driver's license and good driving record is necessary
Minimum 5 years experience (diagnostic experience required)
ASE Master Certification is preferred
GM, Ford or Chrysler line experience is preferred
