Auto Glass Technicians and Glaziers

We are currently recruiting Auto Glass Technicians and Glaziers with at least two years experience that are ready to become part of a growing business with unlimited advancement potential. 

 

Summary:

Replacement and repair of automobile windshields and glass or replacement of commercial and residential glass including windows, skylights, store fronts, and display cases, or on surfaces such as building fronts, interior walls, ceilings, and tabletops.

Duties (Auto Glass Technician): Repair and replace winshields and/or other glass on automobiles. Inspect and clean glass to be installed. Verify that the glass is the correct replacement. Inspect and protect the customers vehicle from damage. Maintains companies quality standards. Follows the companies systems. Operates the company vehicle in a safe manner. Manages paperwork. Maintains professional image. Perform other duties as required which may include job functions outside the scope of normal job duties.

Duties (Glazier) Review the Work Authorization form and obtain approval from the customer to perform the required work. Mark outline or pattern on glass and cut glass. Fasten glass apnes into wood sash with glazier's points, and spread and smooth putty around edge of panes with knife to seal joints. Install mirrors or structural glass on building fronts, walls, ceilings, or tables. Bolt metal hinges, handles, locks, and other hardware to prefabricated glass doors. Install metal widow and doorframes into which glass panels are to be fitted. Install precut replacement glass to replace curved windows. Cut flat safety glass according to specified pattern. Maintains companies quality standards. Follows the companies systems. Operates the company vehicle in a safe manner. Manages paperwork. Maintains professional image. Perform other duties as required which may include job functions outside the scope of normal job duties.

 

Qualifications for both postions: High school diploma or GED. Two or more years related experience. Appropriate certifications. Experience providing excellent customer service. Must be dependable. Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
