THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking a Tenant/Construction Manager to join our Real Estate/Development Services team.  Qualified candidates will possess 5 or more years of tenant coordination/construction experience.

 

Responsibilities:

 Have thorough knowledge and understanding of the tenant leases, timelines, and tenant work letters.Administer the collection of rent, expenses and compliance with lease terms.Review and approve all contractor bids and ensure that it meets with the projects budget.Develop specific client/tenant driven goals, schedules and budgets.Oversees tenant fit out work, confirms that it complies with all drawings and specifications from the architect and tenant.Ensure that the tenant space is clean and neat for all tenant inspections.Oversee tenant move-ins and move-outs.Work closely with personnel to insure all projects are brought to completion on time, and as designed and all issues and concerns are immediately addressed.Build rapport with tenant represenatives and ensure scope of projects peformance standards are fully understood.Coordinate any necessary due diligence efforts on behalf of the client/tenant, maintaining and delivering all appropriate documentation.Act as the primary contact with the client/tenant throughout the duration of a project.Work on other various construction projects on an as needed basis. 

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering  preferred5+ years of tenant coordination/construction experienceCPM professional designation or candidacy preferred.Ability to communicate data to clients/tenants on a regular basis and team to achieve desired goals.Working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts.Experience in construction management of office tenant space preferred.Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level, external and internal clients, architects, contractors, tenant representatives, and team members.Experience interpreting lease document language for construction related issues.Exceptional follow-through skills.Exceptional organizational skills.Knowledge of MS Office suite, Outlook, Project, Primavera and AutoCad preferred
