Technical Drafter

 

O’Brien & Gere is currently seeking a Technical Drafter to execute contracted work related to environmental engineering and support other facilities and air quality engineering CAD projects.

The Technical Drafter is responsible for duties that include, but are not limited to, the following: Adhere to policies and standards set forth in the Firm's Quality System documents Prepare final drawings, exhibits, figures, and other materials from designs provided by others Operate CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) systems with a high level of proficiency Utilize traditional board drafting tools Learn the Firm's system of filing drawings and its methods and techniques for drawing reproduction

Skills and Qualifications Successful candidate should have 0-5 years of technical experience including AutoCAD Version 2006. GIS/Arcview experience a plus. Drafting Certificate from technical school preferred.
