Our client is a leading MEP Engineering Consulting firm that focuses on commercial, industrial, government, education projects and is a leader in LEED engineering and sustainable design projects.
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the team!
Electrical Engineer
We are seeking an energetic, Electrical Engineer with a thorough knowledge of engineering principles and experience in a broad spectrum of building types.
Because a majority of our work is in existing buildings, work will include:
Field investigation, design, scheduling, programming, quality control, and coordinating information/work of all disciplines, Load calculations, lighting fixture selections, calculations, and equipment cut sheet, sizing, and research of products or applications. Should have new and remodel experience with commercial, industrial, and instructional projects, estimates, have a working knowledge of building codes, and public agencies including DSA.
Requirements: Registered P.E. or E.I.T. 1-5 years experience with Power/HVAC. Also desired: experience relative to transformer voltage substation design. MV distribution, short circuit studies, lighting, and campus/corporate power distribution. Must be a team player who can work with architects, have excellent communication skills, be able to detail, edit/write specifications, and lead construction administration. Must be proficient with MS Word/ Excel (AutoCAD skills, and ability to prepare cost estimates are a “plus” but not required). Individual must be able to make decisions and think independently, as well as be a supporting member of a project team. Candidate must also be able to complete/perform all aspects of projects from beginning to end
