Structural Engineering – Entry Level 

LPA is seeking entry level engineers in the structural discipline.  Entry level Structural Engineers will be trained to perform structural dynamic analysis; design structural elements constructed with structural steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and reinforced masonry and understand construction details.  Appropriate candidates will have strong understanding of structural analysis fundamentals with knowledge in AISC seismic provisions, AISC LRFD method, ACI 318 and California Building Code.  Candidates should demonstrate creative thinking in resolving complex structural design problems as well as good communication skills and have a team oriented attitude. 

Other positive attributes would include:

EIT/PE

Prior working/internship experience in structural design

ACAD/REVIT experience

Knowledge of ETABS, SAP, SAFE

 Structural Engineering - Project Manager 

LPA is seeking Senior Project Engineers in the structural discipline.  Senior Engineer will be responsible for complete design of major projects, including conceptual design, construction document and coordination between design disciplines. 

Appropriate candidates will have experience in advanced structural analysis, in-depth knowledge in seismic provisions and California Building Codes and ability to develop detailed construction documents.  Candidates should demonstrate creative thinking in resolving complex structural design problems as well as good communication skills and have a team oriented attitude. 

Other positive attributes would include:

PE/SE

3 years to 7 years experience in structural design of major structures

Knowledge of ETABS, SAP, SAFE

Experience in DSA/OSHPD projects
