Cannon Design, an award winning international design firm offers an exciting career opportunity for a Structural Engineer in a dynamic, team focused work environment in our Grand Island office.
Â
Minimum of 4 years experience performing structural engineering on healthcare, institutional or commercial projects. Responsibilities include structural analysis, preparation of construction drawings, preparation of specifications, and review of shop drawings. Must be able to work with architectural staff to develop comprehensive building designs for healthcare, institutional, and commercial building projects. Field inspection is performed during construction, with some travel required. AutoCAD ADT 2008, RISA, RAM, and Microsoft software required, Revit Structure a plus.

Concrete and steel design experience required. Masonry and wood design experience a plus. Familiarity with building, ACI, and AISC codes. Strong communication, analytical and teamwork skills.
