Structural / Civil / Bridge Engineering Manager
Requirements:

The structural/civil engineer must have qualifications/experience as follows: S.E. License in the State of Illinois is required. Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (Structural). Minimum of four years of experience in the designs of Bridges and Highway Structures. Experience in management, budget, quality control/assurance of phase I, II and III - design and construction management of highway projects. Experience in maintaining and administering policies governing design and preparation of plans and specifications of highway structures. Experience in performing Bridge Condition Reports, TS&L plans, Plan Development Outlines and bridge structural design for current AASHTO specifications. Experience in developing structural plans for bridges, box culverts, retaining walls, and other roadway structures. Experience in reviewing the design of highway pavements, horizontal and vertical geometry. Use of the latest version of MicroStation. Experience in preparing time and cost estimates for projects. Experience in performing detailed structural inspections of highway bridges Experience in the designs of building and other types of structures is a plus.
