Staff CAD draftsmen to: • CAD draft accurately and effectively architectural sections, details, plans, elevations based upon sketches or preliminary drafting begun by others with guidance by others• Complete document mark-ups by others• Accumulate building data to prepare or assist others to prepare energy and building code reviews • Assist in field surveys to take and record dimensions accurately and comprehensively• Printing, plotting; maintain and handle supplies and office equipment Qualifications:• Be US citizen with a B.S. Architectural Degree from a US university• Have their own transportation, live in Southern New Jersey or understand the requirements of commuting.• Have experience in US ARCHITECTURAL commercial shell construction drafting and knowledge of building codes and construction documentation for commercial buildings.• Proficient with AutoCAD Version 2007, Outlook, Word; demonstrate good communication skills.• A "self starter" capable of taking general directions and completing work effectively and accurately. Willing to follow direction of others for completion of project documentation•Shall have some "software" programming/troubleshooting skills in AutoCAD and Word and willing to share with others; responsible for organizing and maintaining documents both electronic and hard copy• Capable of accurately comprehending and understand the scope of work presented that needs to be completed Interview will require CAD testing and samples of AutoCAD architectural drafting showing wall sections and detail for commercial building shell construction.
